Man, I feel kinda excited to actually finally have a blog! We never did go ahead with satellite internet so we'll see how this goes with dial up and posting pix. Most likely won't be able to post little videos except for when we got places and take the lap top. I can do those from a wifi somewhere. Just won't be that often.
Right now, it is 6:30 on a Thursday evening. My darling husband, Jared, is 'wearing' Sage in the Ergo carrier and Sage is sleeping blissfully, head slumped and leaning against the Ergo strap. The dryer is humming away in the background as the sounds of 'MacGyver' drone away on our television. Yep, hubby is a MacGyver fan. Not so bad to watch but man, what was up with that acting of the 80's?!?! "Oh - macGyver - what - will - we - do - now? We - are- trapped!" ;-]
All is well in Randolph Center, VT. It is currently a very 'mild' (;-]) 20 degrees, which is actually a very warm temp for what we're used to, this time of day, lately. We had a frozen kitchen drain for a week and it finally defrosted today! Yay!!! Been washing dishes in the bathtub (in a smaller tub folks so etchasketch the visual of me washing dishes in the bathtub!).
I'm excited to get going on this blog! I really enjoy writing. It truly is a passion of mine and one that has 'gone by the wayside' over the past many years. I still feel like I have a book inside of me and one day, I will write a book!
For now, let me start with a current photo. My next blog post will be a 'step back in time' as I go back to his birth day. Currently, our little Sage, at 7 months and 10 days, is quite the 'poser' for the camera already. Two days ago I was changing him and when I had him stripped to his 'undies' I noticed how well he was co-ordinated that day! Since I rarely do that, even on purpose, I sat him in the chair for a 'photo shoot'. Plus, he was wearing his new socks that his friend, Jenniflower, sent to him and had asked for a photo of. So, I sat him in the glider chair and he just worked that camera, as you can see...... (First I have to figure out how to post pix so if one does not follow this post, bear with me!)
Today, Sage is modelling a blue singlet by Bonds Australia, Willow Green Training Pants by Little Beetle and Infant socks by Smartwool

Thanks for starting this blog. It's so lovely that the internet can help us all stay connected. And what do you mean, you don't coordinate things very often? This page matches Sage's socks, too!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yeah, I guess it does, huh?!
